Does watching survivor on TV qualify you as
an expert? Think you could last in the wilderness on your own, days and nights on end? If
you're not sure, some training might be in order first...
We recently met David Arama, Director and Instructor of Wilderness Survival School, at
the Outdoor Adventure Show in Toronto.
He's been teaching outdoor survival programs for more than 20 years, and he's
appeared on City TV, TSN's Great Outdoorsman as well as a wide array of trade
shows across Canada.
David's no ordinary bushman though. He
serenaded us with Moose calls, a campfire across from our booth (indoors) and
enough cheesy jokes to make us believe survival training with him would likely
be as entertaining as it would be educational.
