Ways to RV
Boldly RVing where you've never gone before
If RVing conjures up images of endless miles of highway driving or crowded campgrounds, think again. RVs can take you to the road less traveled or keep you on the straight and narrow. Whether you want to camp with the bears or enjoy the ready-made community of an RV camp site, your imagination is the only thing limiting you.
Wilderness
Don't let an RV keep you on the beaten path. Some RVs are built for the off-road experience. With solar power and eco-friendly supplies, there's no reason you can't live off the grid for weeks on end. So embrace your inner nomad and become part of the landscape.
Soft Adventure
If you're not up to climbing mountains or paddling whitewater rapids, soft adventures offer all the eye-candy but without the muscle pain. Gentle trails, hiker-friendly foot paths and calm lakes provide all the views, fun and nature you need.
Cross Country
North America offers an almost endless array of scenery, culture and adventures. If you've always wanted to see Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon or the Florida Keys, an RV is an ideal way to become intimately acquainted with all this continent has to offer.
Weekend Getaways
Don't feel you need to book off weeks at a time or log long hours on the road. If you feel like nipping up to cottage country for a day or two, your RV makes it easy. With no hotels to book, restaurant line-ups to endure and 24-hour access to scenery, you can make a quick getaway on a whim.
Overseas
While RVs aren't amphibious, don't let their inability to float keep you from thinking globally. With a little planning, you can fly almost anywhere in the world and rent an RV when you get there. If you plan on touring Tuscany or Provence, keep in mind that gas prices - er, petrol - are much higher in most parts of the world.
Likewise, if you live in Rhode Island and have to pack all your California dreaming into two weeks, you can fly to L.A. and explore the coastal range in a rented RV.
